Wedding Necktie

So we've settled on the colour scheme from the previous post; I really like the high-energy but not "in your face"-ness to it.

To that end, I bought a necktie for the event. My tan suit will go well with the blue and orange, but I needed something to make it an outfit for the wedding instead of an outfit that just didn't not match.

Mom was up this weekend and we spent the weekend making wedding plans. I also tried on a ridiculous number of WEDDING DRESSES. I don't think of myself as girly, but a few poofy princess dresses changed my mind!

Venue Visit

We're having our wedding at the UNB Student Union Building, and tonight was the Student Union's "State of the Union", which was a wine and cheese event exactly where our wedding will be! It was really cool to see how big the space was without being full of tables, to see it with people dressed semiformally, etc. It almost feels like it's real :)

Wedding Blog!

So we've got a wedding blog! Crazy! It's like after 30 months of engagement we're legitimately getting married or something.

This blog is to keep everyone who's interested updated on the current state of our wedding planning, and also to get some feedback on ideas that we have for our wedding. Before anyone accuses me of bullying Ashley into a wedding blog, I'd like to say that I can't take responsibility for this great idea :)
